That month, Russia’s imports of stainless steel hot-rolled steel, stainless steel seamless pipes, stainless steel long steel, stainless steel welded pipes and stainless steel wires fell by 24.1%, 20.0%, 15.4%, 34.8% and 9.9% respectively.

On the other hand, imports of stainless steel cold-rolled steel increased by 0.1% from the previous month.

In October, China was the main supplier of stainless steel products to Russia, accounting for 72.3% of total supply.

Followed by Indonesia 14.2%, India 8.5% and Turkey 2.1%.
